SAN DIEGO, CA – After watching the season five finale of Arrow, which airs on the CW Wednesdays at 8pm/7pm central, San Diego resident Tom Bradshaw, 28, expressed feelings of deep despair at the thought of so many of his favorite characters potentially being killed off.
“I mean, Felicity, Thea, Curtis – all of them! Could they really be dead?” Bradshaw went on to explain that, “You bring these characters into your home each week, they become like friends, you know? I just can’t stand the thought of losing them.”
Bradshaw dismissed the suggestion that it is highly unlikely the show’s writers would kill off nearly all of the supporting cast, seeing as the show is slated to continue for a sixth season.
“People say that, but you never know! I’m on the edge of my seat!” Bradshaw said.
When asked how he plans to deal with the stress associated with waiting until the season six premiere to learn the fate of his favorite characters, he responded, “I really don’t know. It’s gonna be tough. Honestly, I think I’m just going to hole up and watch reruns all summer.”
According to Bradshaw’s girlfriend, area woman Kate Stone, 27, attempts to coax Bradshaw away from the laptop on which he watches television, so that he might “enjoy the sunlight and the nice weather” have been unsuccessful.
