SAN DIEGO, CA – In a press conference this morning, local woman Samantha Smith said that her entire week has been “made” by the release of the first trailer for the upcoming film Thor: Ragnarok, by Marvel Entertainment.
“This was shaping up to be just another dull week,” Smith said, “but the trailer was released and I just didn’t care that I’d have to site through three more tedious staff meetings over the next two days.”
“Up until the release of the trailer,” Smith continued, “I thought the most exciting part of my week was going to be finally trying the white chocolate mocha at Starbucks. But this trailer is way better.”
Smith pointed to the moment when Thor first encounters the Hulk as her favorite part of the trailer.
“I mean, when Thor sees the Hulk and he’s like, ‘Yeeees!!’ It was awesome. That moment alone made my entire Monday.”
“Plus, I can’t wait to see Loki! He’s really what makes the Thor movies so great. I can easily endure four more days of maddening traffic jams just thinking about what Loki is going to get up to,” Smith continued.
“Most of my days are pretty mind-numbing. I wake up to an alarm, sit in front of a computer for eight hours, come home, pop a DiGiorno’s pizza in the oven, or maybe order takeout, go to bed, then wake up and do it all again,” Smith said. “But this week is different. This week, anytime I have one of those moments where I freak out and wonder what I’m doing with my life, I can just watch the Ragnarok trailer again.”
